AMIHS Heritage Day Festival

Our annual Heritage Day Festival is a chance for The Anna Maria Island Historical Society (AMIHS) to give back to the community by way of a fun family-oriented celebration in thanks for all the support so generously given to us throughout the year. This is also a great way we get the word out to locals and visitors that AMIHS shares the history of all three of our unique island cities on this one beautiful island paradise.
Activities include:
– Arts and crafts vendors, many of which demonstrate their crafts
– Live music by Howie Banfield and his String Quartet Band
– The ever popular strawberry shortcake and baked goods for sale
– Poppo’s Taqueira -delicious tacos and more
– Kids games and crafts
– Pirates Invasion with maybe a surprise or two
– Museum and Bell Haven Tours given by our wonderful docents
