Free Seminar: Coping with Transitions & Positive Aging

Everyone is invited to this FREE SEMINAR by Louise Gallagher on Monday, November 1st at 1:00 PM. The seminar will be held in the Roser Memorial Chapel. ABOUT THE PRESENTER: Louise Gallagher, a certified dementia practitioner and life coach who retired from a 25-year psychotherapy practice in Modesto, CA. She currently works with seniors in Manatee and Sarasota Counties. She teaches in Lifelong Learning for Ringling College and Sarasota County Schools. She is a community educator and runs support groups for the Alzheimer’s Association. Additionally she volunteers with AARP. She is part of the team instrumental in developing the Dementia Care and Cure Initiative in Manatee County to educate businesses, clubs, groups and organizations about Alzheimer’s and Related Dementias. She has appeared on TV, radio and in local magazines. She has a master’s degree In Counseling from CA State University, Fullerton. She attended both USC and University of the Pacific for doctoral work in Counseling.
