Family Service with Nativity Pageant

Everyone is invited to join us… invite family, friends and neighbors! There will be two unique Christmas celebrations:
4:00 PM OUTDOOR FAMILY SERVICE
This service features a Nativity Pageant in which all children are invited to participate. This service is especially for families, but everyone is welcome. There will be singing of carols, special music and a message from Pastor Dirk titled “A Miraculous Witness”. All children will receive a gift. This event will be held outdoors on the grounds just north of the Roser Church Sanctuary. It is important to bring your lawn chairs or blankets as chairs are not available. Park in the Thrift Shop or Fellowship Hall parking areas. Handicap parking will be available on the far west of the Sanctuary entrance.
6:30 PM CANDLELIGHT CONCERT BY THE ROSER RINGERS HANDBELL CHOIR FOLLOWED BY A TRADITIONAL SERVICE IN THE SANCTUARY.
Each person that attends will receive a candle with a plastic cup to keep the hot wax from dripping on their hands. At the end of the service, during the singing of Silent Night the lights will be turned down and the candles of those on the center aisle will be lit. Those sitting on the aisle will then light the candle of the person next to them and the light will pass through the Sanctuary symbolizing the spreading of the Light of Christ. We will enjoy special music and sing Christmas carols and a message from Pastor Dirk Rodgers titled “A Miraculous Witness”. This service will be broadcast online on the Roser Church YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/c/RoserChurch).
The message by Pastor Dirk: “A Miraculous Witness”
As witnesses of His miraculous work, God calls an obscure group of men who were just doing their job in the wilderness. Their role, however, fulfills a story that God had been foretelling for centuries through His prophets. They became the heralds of a new chapter in God’s story of restoration.
