Castello Banfi Wine Tasting Event

The Beach House Waterfront Restaurant will host wine industry legend Sharron McCarthy for a very special dinner at 6PM on Friday, May 13, 2022. Director Emeritus and Past President of the Society of Wine Educators and former VP of Wine Education at Banfi Vintners, McCarthy will be presenting some of Castello Banfi’s legendary vintages that will be paired with fare from the popular restaurant.

Dating back to the ninth century, Castello Banfi is a family-owned vineyard estate and winery located in Tuscany’s Montalcino region. The estate was founded on the philosophy of blending tradition with innovation and is recognized as a pioneer in elevating the standards of Italian winemaking.

Creative Beach House Chefs Shaun Frick and Jeremiah Goode have prepared a masterful menu to illuminate the night’s wines.

The Forks and Corks Food and Wine Festival is an annual event hosted by the Sarasota-Manatee Originals aimed at promoting dining in local, independently owned restaurants that encourages locals and visitors to always “Eat Like A Local.” The multi-day event held at multiple venues, highlights an esteemed cast of visiting winery owners and winemakers from all over the world.
