Come and join the Anna Maria Island Privateers Celebrate the Capture of Bradenton Beach City Hall… Witness the Honorable Mayor John Chappie, dragged from his Office and Shackled to the Mast of the Privateers 60ft Pirate Ship “Skullywag”… Demands are as Follows… A Key to the City, a Letter of Marque to Pillage & Plunder the City of Bradenton Beach in the year of our Lord 2021AD and a Ransom from the Peasants of your fair City for the Release of your Mayor, but thar be the Option of Payments to keep him..
You’re all invited to meet the Privateers 5:00pm Friday January 8th and take part in the Seizure of City Hall.. Ensuing the capture will be a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony by the AMI Chamber in Recognition of the 50 years on the Island to this Historical event. Followed by a Ship-Gate (Tailgate) Party with Champaign and Eats to Celebrate the Liberation of this Dastardly Event..
