A Free Spring Musical – In the Image
Roser Youth Roser Performing Arts presents… In the Image, A FREE COMMUNITY-WIDE SPRING MUSICAL! Everyone is welcome–this is a perfect Mother’s Day gift for Mom’s of all ages. The production will end with a presentation of flowers by cast members to their mothers and grandmothers, followed by a PRESENTATION OF FLOWERS TO ALL LADIES in attendance, in honor of Mother’s Day weekend! Everyone in attendance is invited to a GREET THE CAST RECEPTION in the Narthex following the Musical. Everyone is welcome–this is a perfect Mother’s Day gift for Mom’s of all ages.
“In the Image” by Mark Burrows features a group of children and youth who have just experienced the story of the Creation. And now they’re starting to wonder what it really means to be created in the image of God. Through humorous, earnest exploration, the children discover that being created in the image of God isn’t about physical appearance. It’s about creativity, faithfulness, responsibility, community, and the ability to find the good in things.
