We bring art entertainment to Anna Maria Island locals and visitors year-round! Distractions On The Island (DOTI for short) is AMI's Paint Your Own Pottery studio where creativity, relaxation, and a little island fun come together.
When you’re on island time, there’s always time for a fun distraction! That’s why DOTI is open 7 days a week, Noon–8 PM..
Make a Reservation & Save — or Just Walk In!
Want to make sure you have a spot? Make a reservation through our website and save $2 on your studio fee! Prefer to keep things spontaneous? Walk-ins are always welcome during normal operating hours.
How Does DOTI Work?
Choose from our selection of ceramic pieces, pick your favorite colors and glazes, and let your creativity take over. Paint your piece, leave it with us, and we’ll take care of the rest!
Your pottery is fired in our kiln and is typically ready for pickup in just 1–2 days. We can also ship your finished pieces if you’re heading home before they’re ready.
Looking for something you can take home the same day? Choose from our selection of sand dollars, oyster shells, and scallop shells. Paint them, finish them, and take your island creation with you!
